I never really seem to have much time or I’m pretty bad at organising myself – one of the two. So when it come to showcasing my work I don’t really have anything to show for it yet I always appear to be working at something. One thing I’m trying to do since my Top Drawer learning curve is to push myself so people out there know what I do.

A very lovely lady, Carly of Another Little World is running a little wedding fair in a cool and trendy hairdressers in Yeovil this sunday. It should be great fun and I’m really looking forward to it. After my trade show experience I feel like I’ve got so many ideas and I feel a bit more confident showing my work. I’ve got a snazzy board that I re-vamped from Top Drawer. It’s been painted deep red with rose gold lettering ever so chic darling!

This is the perfect chance to showcase a little of what I do to the public. I’ve been busy using old and new wedding stationery ideas, including hand drawn maps, funky save the date cards and unique invitations.

I’ve even started to hand draw a few illustrations for a little leaflet which I really like. Everyday I feel that my style is improving and I’m getting better at what I do. Fingers crossed this is my year and I can become a lady of leisure who kicks back by the pool with her sketch book…. one can only dream!

This wedding fair takes place on Sunday 19th 11-3pm at Mane Attraction. Get your free ticket here. I’ll be a featured wedding person along with my pal Amber Pritchard of Little Thatch Florist. We often team up so that couples can have their wedding theme run though their stationery and flowers.

I hope to see you there if you’re in the area!
